For Sellers: Arrive any time after 8:00 AM and plan on staying until 2:00 PM.
Pick a spot along the boardwalk or walkway. Bring tarps and drop off your items to sell, then park outside on in the neighborhood on Willben St, 27th Bay Ave, 28th Bay, 29th Bay, etc. Please leave lots of room for buyers to park on Pretty Lake Avenue if possible!

For Buyers: Come at 10:00 AM: park on Pretty Lake Avenue, Willben St., 27th Bay, 28th Bay, 29th Bay and walk into the old Cutty Sark Marina (now Little Creek Marina ), sellers will be all along the Little Creek Marina Boardwalk / Walkway.

fundamental sailing maneuvers like tacking, jibing, sail trim, basic knots and teamwork.

No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to learn! By the end of Crew-U, you'll be ready to step aboard with some confidence and may contribute as a valuable member of any sailing crew.

COST: $75

BBSA Cape Henry Cup (Saturday, May 16, 2026)

The 2026 BBSA Cape Henry Cup will be held on Saturday May 16, 2026, with a 0930 scheduled first start. This is a long-distance race in the lower Chesapeake Bay. The race officers select from multiple course options prior to the race depending on the weather. The racecourse length may be over 20 nautical miles for the faster divisions.

Entry fee is WAIVED for all BBSA members!

The Cape Henry Cup Race was established in 1974. As one of the most popular races on the southern Chesapeake, the course originally passed out through the Maryland Channel opening of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel and returning through the Thimble Shoal Channel opening. Now we maintain the distance but usually do not go through the openings.

Marking the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, a fleet of international tall ships will sail into the port of Virginia on June 19, 2026. The 26 nautical mile spectacular parade will feature ships from around the world sailing together into downtown Norfolk.

On Friday, June 19, 2026, The Parade of Sail escorting the international tall ship fleet will depart from the Lynnhaven Anchorage off the Virginia Beach Shore Drive Lesner Bridge area, sail through Hampton Roads, and into the Elizabeth River.
