BBSA Name Tags: Last day to order in 2026 Fall Shipment (Saturday, October 31, 2026)

Order BBSA Name Tags NOW!
If you are a new member who joined in 2026 and have not yet ordered a member name tag, register here to place an order for 2 free BBSA name tags. Last day to order for the fall shipment is October 31, 2026.

New members who joined in 2026 can order two (2) free names tags for members within your membership. For example, you can order one for yourself and another for your spouse. You can also order additional name tags for members of your family for $10 each. Name tags can only be made for members and family members.

Existing members can also order additional name tags for $10 each by filling out the Additional name tag section. Leave the free name tag fields blank.

The BBSA name tag has the BBSA burgee on it along with your name and, if applicable, your boat name.

Please make sure you fill out everything correctly, as the names and boat are printed just as you type it. It can only be ordered through the website. Please email Elizabeth Paasch at epaasch@divaris.com with any questions.

This order will be placed in early November 2026. You may order your name tag at any time, but we only fulfill name tags orders twice a year. This Fall Order will be delivered to members at the Novembeer Friendsgiving Membership Meeting or sooner if the opportunity (such as training) arises. If you have previously ordered name tags, but have not picked them up, we will have those name tags also.

Please wear your name tags when you attend meetings and events.

Submit a nomination for BBSA Executive Committee (Saturday, November 07, 2026)

We are accepting nominations for next year's officers.

Register a nomination here for the 2027 Executive Committee. Please provide the requested information in the registration form. You can register multiple times for additional nominations. Nominations close at the end of the day on Saturday, November 7, 2026. You can also nominate someone in person to any current board member.

Online voting will begin November 9, 2026. The final in-person vote will occur at the November Friendsgiving and BBSA Meeting.

Hot-Buttered Rum Race (Saturday, November 07, 2026)

The Broad Bay Sailing Association and Willoughby Racers are pleased to announce the 2026 Hot-Buttered Rum Race. All classes will be non-spinnaker (single headsail only). Class splits will be based on the entries. Entry fee is FREE for BBSA Members (a late fee of $10 will be applied if you wait until Friday, November 6th!) All others - $20. See the Notice of Race for details and registration information. REGISTRATION CLOSES FOR EVERYONE AT NOON ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 6th.

Following the race, hot-buttered rum will be served and war stories exchanged along with refreshments and a Chili Cook-Off at the Willoughby Racers End-of-Season Party at Rebel Marina. Willoughby Racers season trophies will also be handed out.

Little Creek Racers Veteran's Day Race (Saturday, November 14, 2026)

2026 LCR Veterans Day Race -Honoring Those That Are Serving and Have Served:

Join us for the annual Veterans Day Race organized by Little Creek Racers on November 14, 2026 at 9:55 am outside Little Creek Inlet. This race is free to all BBSA members. Non-members can race for $45. Register here.

NOTE: If you join BBSA now as a first-year member for $50, you can race in this race and the Hot Buttered Rum race AND get the full 2027 membership to BBSA. To join BBSA, go to: JOIN

BBSA Annual Elections, Membership Meeting & Friendsgiving (Tuesday, November 17, 2026)

Join us for our final BBSA membership meeting of 2026! We'll enjoy a Friendsgiving potluck, elect our 2027 Executive Committee, recognize our volunteers, present the Veterans Day Race awards, and celebrate another great year of sailing together.

Volunteers helping with setup, please arrive at 5:30 PM.

Parking: Use Lot #42. Drive all the way toward the water to reach the large boathouse. Please check posted parking signs, as fees may apply.

Friendsgiving Potluck

Bring your favorite Thanksgiving dish to share with fellow BBSA members!

One friendly request from the organizers: No marshmallows in the sweet potatoes, please!

Beverages will be provided by the BBSA Neptune's Atlantic Regatta team. Small donations are encouraged.

Here's how it works: The person drawing #1 selects and opens the first gift. Each subsequent participant can either choose a new wrapped gift or steal an already opened gift. Once all gifts have been opened, #1 gets the final opportunity to swap!
