Printing Event Calendars

If you want to be reminded of events that are coming up and you want a printed calendar to stick on your refrigerator or a PDF file to save for later, you can use your browser to generate these. The calendar in the BBSA website has two views: one that lets you scroll through all or a subset of events and another that shows a grid calendar with events spanning the dates they are scheduled for. It’s a toggle between the two views.

Note: only one calendar month can be printed at a time

This works from most browsers, although Chrome seems to be the friendliest to the BBSA website.

1. Download the Chrome browser from Google on your computer or tablet.
2. Click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner to see your browser options, including printing. This assumes you have a printer available to your computer or tablet.

HINT: You can use control+shift+p in Chrome to get your print options when you are on the calendar page.

1. One Print option lets you save as PDF files on your computer or tablet.  IPad uses IBooks for storing pdf files.  You can view or print them later if you save them.    
2. If you just want a quick glance at an event, download the member app and look at it there. There is help for downloading the member app.
3. Once you have your printer showing up in the print window, click Print and you should have your calendar page.

There are so many devices, printers, and browsers, it’s impossible to anticipate what each person will encounter when printing. Each individual needs to learn how to use their own devices.  

Remember the whole point of the website is that it is not static. When things change, it is reflected immediately. Once you print, you lose that dynamism. It will be up to the individual to print or create these files themselves as they need them from the calendar.
