Eric and Cathy Brinsfield plan to lead a cruise to Long Island Sound as soon as weather permits after the Cape Charles Cup. 

So far one other boat has signed up to join us.  We plan to leave no earlier than August 17, 2021 but maybe later depending on the weather.  We will sail offshore from Norfolk to Block Island, so we need a 3 day weather window. 

After arriving in Block Island, where we will stay for a few days, we will sail over to Newport, RI., then likely down to Mystic.  We hope to pick our destinations based on the wind and weather.  We will spend a week or so exploring the Fish Tail section of eastern Long Island.  Eventually, we will cruise down the sound stopping at various places along the way.  We will spend a few days in New York City before heading south again.  The entire trip will last about 4-5 weeks.
