The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) Trivia Night at Bold Mariner Brewing on January 4th has been transitioned from a live event at Bold Mariner to an online Zoom event because of the Omicron COVID-19 surge.

Directions for using the game software, Kahoot!, will be provided during the check in period. They are very simple.

Requirements:

• computer with internet for Zoom
• smartphone or tablet with internet capability

Schedule for Tuesday, January 4, 2022 starting at 6:40 pm

• 6:40 to 6:55 PM - log into Zoom on your computer and also "Kahoot!" app on your cell phone or tablet

The format the Trivia Game will be

This RRS Trivia Night Questions will focus on RRS "Starting Rules"

• Questions will be shown on Zoom
• Using the Kahoot! app, each participant will select their answer
• Kahoot! will score the answers. First participant to get a correct answer will get a higher score
• We will briefly discuss the answer, which RRS apply, as necessary.

Questions will mostly be True / False or Multiple choice.

Some questions will include scenarios followed by T/F questions concerning the rules that apply.

The goals of this Trivia Night are:

• To have fun
• To learn more and/or refresh our knowledge of the rules of racing.
