Notice of Race (NOR)

This is the famous Version race and Chesapeake Challenge. Weather permitting, a Le Mans start from the beach begins competitors' long distance challenge across the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and through one of the longest bridge/tunnels in the world. Contestants will pass over one of the two tunnels of the 17.6-mile long Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, race alongside the bridge, and recross through the second tunnel before heading back to the beach. The trip is about 25 miles as the crow flies. There will be awards both days along with food, drink and inaccuracies on the beach following.
