Annual Chesapeake Challenge Version 2.23 Sept. 2-4, 2023  

Both days will be started using the Le Man’s starting system. All Skippers will be lined up behind a line on the beach and then will race to their boats in order to start the race. Solo skippers may elect to have someone hold their boat and to help them launch. Boats cannot be moved until the skipper touches the boat. Skipper and crew must assume assigned positions, crew cannot drive the boat at the start but can change any time during the race. Finish will be scored when the hulls touch the beach at the designated finish line.
