Saint Patrick’s Day Themed Meeting

Potluck  – Bring a dish to pass - As feasible bring Irish / St Patrick’s Day Appetizers, Main Dish or Dessert

• Remember to wear something Green.

• Prize for best Dressed for the Occasion (leprechauns most welcome)
• Give yourself an Irish name for the evening… We will have name tags
• St Patrick’s Day Game – Bring a smartphone or tablet

Guest Speaker

BBSA member Bill Wheary will tell us about the Salty Dawg Sailing Association (SDSA) whose mission is to educate sailors, build camaraderie, and facilitate offshore passages.  Bill is the SDSA Port Captain for the SDSA and has made numerous ocean passages in SDSA Rallies, so he is quite familiar with this organization and how it could be of interest to so many of our members. 

Learn about the many SDSA webinars and other educational resources available as well as Ocean and Near Coastal passages and Rendezvous events run by the SDSA and its member volunteers.

Whether you are currently a Bay or Ocean sailor or plan to be, come to this discussion and see why 1800 sailors have become members of the SDSA.
